Organized by the Regional Committee of Friuli-Venezia Giulia of the Unione Nazionale Pro Loco d ‘Italia, the event is scheduled for the two weekends from 20th to 21st May and from 26th to 28th May 2023.
Spectacular location of this expected event will be as usual the lawn between the two exedra of Villa Manin, in Passariano di Codroipo (in the province of Udine).
Sapori Pro Loco, the largest showcase of the typical characteristics of the regional territory, this year reaches its 20th edition.. For the occasion, the food and wine aspect is accompanied by a series of cultural and themed events, including shows, tastings and much more.
A rich participation of Pro Loco associations is planned. They will offer the excellence of Friulian cuisine: typical local dishes accompanied by the best wines and the best regional craftbeers.
An immersion into the delicacies of local gastronomic traditions: an event for everyone!
If you are on holiday in Trieste and have the possibility to move by car, Sapori Pro Loco is a day trip that we recommend you try. The place of the event, Villa Manin, is otherwise accessible also by local public transport: just take the regional train to Codroipo (change in Udine), and then continue on foot or by bike for 2km through the cycle path towards Villa Manin, which leads directly to the place of the Sapori Pro Loco event.
Remember that you can also bring your bike on the train (service provided by Trenitalia). However, the short distance from Codroipo to Villa Manin guarantees, in a day of good weather, a pleasant walk.
