The exhibition offers 200 photographs, some of them never presented to the public, a selection of cameras and other materials on the work of the photographer who more than any other has been able to immortalize the spirit of Trieste.

“What your eyes can see not” by Andrea Tomicich

The exhibition studies the invisible light of the human eye: the photographs are made using the infrared technique, which allows to capture a range of dark light from the visible.

In order to make this possible, Tomicich has conceived and created specific camera and objective for this function: what we observe is therefore not the result of elaborations, but is an aspect of reality that is unknown to us.
